SUPREME COURT PROTECTS 2A, MALLIOTAKIS DOES NOT

June 23, 2022 - Staten Island – Today the Supreme Court rendered a decision that up-holds the constitutional right to bear arms.  This comes at a time while Congress is looking to encroach on our citizens 2A rights.  The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental in the creation of our country and instrumental in protecting ourselves.

“With crime ramping up and home burglary increasing, self protection is essential”, says Matland, “these shootings on the streets in broad daylight and other brazen crime occurs because the criminal with the illegal gun knows the law abiding citizen is unarmed.”  A soft on crime approach has lead NYC into a crime wave without consequences for the criminal.

John has been vocal in the past, urging incumbent Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis to protect 2A and not vote on any bills that would attempt to strip law abiding citizens of their rights.  John added, “Having a gun doesn’t mean you’ll ever have to discharge it outside of a gun range, but if you find yourself in a life or death situation, it’s the difference between seeing the light of tomorrow or dying at the hands of someone who doesn’t value your life.”
